TASTE OF THE WOODS
(Weekend overnight visits on an individual basis)
High school age young women are invited to a weekend
at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods that includes an evening of fireside story-telling with the sisters, tour of the motherhouse grounds and information about our foundress, Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. You’ll also visit White Violet Center for Eco-Justice and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Housing and meals will be provided.

WOMEN'S DISCERNMENT GROUP
Single Catholic Women between the ages of 18 and 45 are invited to join with sisters of several communities in the greater Cincinnati, OH area to learn about religious life.
When: The third Sunday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: The session begins after the 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Monica-St. George parish in the former school building.

FRANCISCAN WOMEN'S RETREAT
A Franciscan Retreat for single women ages 20-40+ will be held at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls, Minnesota. The retreat will address the big question: “How do I Know?” What is your heart’s desire? What is your life vocation? Come discover who you are, and learn about our way of life. During the rertreat
you will experience the Franciscan spirit and the practice of discernent, prayer and conversation with our sisters.

COME AND SEE
Single women ages 18 to 45 are invited to a day of reflection on religious life and the Sisters of Mercy.
When: Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Where: Regina Hall, 2319 Grandview Ave., Cincinnati, OH.
There is no charge for the program.

Adrian Dominicans Sisters invite women ages 20-35 to Come, See, and learn about the Dominican life of Sisters of Adrian. The day will be spent in prayer, becoming acquainted with Dominican vowed life, a brief history of the first Dominican Sisters, how and why they came to a small town of cornfields. Please join us!

SATURDAY NIGHT ALIVE!
All Young Adults are invited to Saturday Night Alive!, a Twilight Retreat sponsored by the Vocation Office for Religious Life of the Archdiocese of New York. Saturday Night Alive! will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Manhattan (corner of 9th Ave and 60th - one block west of Columbus Circle).
When: on Saturday, November 15 beginning after the 5:15pm Mass and ending at 9:00pm.
The Twilight Retreat takes place during the Year of St. Paul. It will consist of prayer, refreshments, talks, quiet time, and discussion. This retreat is titled: Paul: The convert, the disciple, the apostle. The retreat master is Father Dave Farnum, CSP. Admission is free.

DISCERNMENT EVENINGS IN CHICAGO
Reserve on evening per month to listen what God is calling you to - both now and in your future! Each evening of this series will explore how our lives respond to the Universal Call to Holiness as we participate in the sacramental life of the Church. A main speaker will address questions like these: How will responding to God's call in my life's vocation allow me to live out my Baptism? How will it allow me to be the Body of Christ? To offer myself in service to others?
The first evening has the title "Called by Baptism" and will take place on December 1, 2008. Main speaker is: Mrs. Claire Noonan.

DISCERNMENT RETREAT OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY
Have you thought about Religious Life? Have you wondered if you are being called? Would you like the opportunity to meet with other women like yourself who are seeking God’s will? SILENT DISCERNMENT RETREAT

"SEARCH YOUR HEART" A DISCERNMENT RETREAT
A retreat sponsored by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart will be held at St Joseph by the Sea Retreat Center on the Jersey Shore on the weekend of Dec. 12-14, 2008. If you are searching for God’s will in your life and are considering what life choices He would have you make at this time, you will want to attend. The retreat will provide you time for reflection, listening to God’s voice, and discerning where God is calling you at this time. We are hosting an overnight informational retreat experience for single, Catholic women, age 20 – 40, who are interested in exploring religious life and the Sisters of Mercy. The gathering will provide an opportunity to meet some Sisters of Mercy and ask questions about their life. The experience will include meeting other women who are exploring religious life.
